iPad keeps syncing unwanted iPhone apps onto it!

hey, have both ipad2 , iphone4, both sync imac.

have big collection of apps both. naturally when got ipad (my recent purchase) , synced it, deleted off iphone-only applications because awful on ipad.

great, several months. now, loads iphone apps deleted off (about 4 pages worth) every time sync.

painstakingly deleted every single 1 ipad last week, it's done again when i've synced!

why , how solve it?

 

uncheck sync applications on mac, on screen ipad.
