1st post,1st stupid question,i'm getting more photography , thinking of getting imac 21inch,what editing,i've been told steer clear because of screen,no idea thought ask guys know ,might dumb question don't shoot me down.
depends on type of editing you're talking about. i've seen, you've got couple options:
organizing photos: iphoto, aperture, or lightroom. these have limited editing features , may fine you. iphoto comes on computer, , trial versions of aperture , lightroom available can see if meet needs.
editing photos:
photoshop elements, simple photo editing goes beyond iphoto et al.
pixelmator, lightweight equivalent photoshop. many people find $29, need, though not contain of features of photoshop.
photoshop, industry standard. depending on needs, may or may not necessary. costs most, provide features well.
