first ipad (the 3/hd or whatever want call it). cover/case , wireless keyboard guys recommend. dont mind getting ones apple store, know $5 bumper bought off street iphone works $20 in store.

i can't answer question i'll since have not owned ipad before, unless absolutley know you'll use keyboard, wait see comes out while spend time using it. may find don't need it.
when bought ipad (original) bought apple kb , have used of 1 time in past few years. thought use 99% it's easy type on screen since i'm not writing of significant length.
