Is it normal for Apple to call after pre-ordering?

i preordered few ipads today. they're not me, charged them on card. (family / friends paying me back.)

apple called house, i'm assuming because it's billing address. (although never put house phone number down, cell phone.)

normal them call? saw name show on tv's caller id, couldn't answer it. lan phone unplugged, i'm not sure if call won't show or if number called automated company number.

anyway, curious might calling about. maybe think ordered 7 ipads myself, because it's same billing address. they're going different people , different addresses. not sure if problem or not.

 

how many did order? thought there limit of 2? apple has never called me maybe if tried ordering 7 ipads?
