iPad2 Camera

has had problems camera app locking up? when go app, freezes. i've done hard reboot , cleared out open apps. tried thru instragram, , froze when switching cameras. thinking may hardware problem. got ideas?

 

have tried restore through itunes? sometimes/most of time restore fix issues, @ least experience.
