10.3.9 Fresh Install.. Yup..!

my friend brought on old 17" imac g5 me photos , music , wipe can give friend.

problem not have disk or leopard install disks.. have sl , lion.

ideas on do?

 

do mean 10.5.9, leopard or 10.3.9, panther?

either way, if can't hold of installation media can amount of wiping hard way, hand.

first, set new admin account in name of new owner , log it. then, delete applications applications folder not want pass on. finally, using accounts pane in system preferences, delete obsolete user accounts, electing "delete immediately" if offered option.

if imac running leopard, can open disc utility select os x partition , choose "erase free space" , 0 out data, ensuring previous users' data has been deleted securely. if it's running panther, can't feature introduced tiger.
