TC WAN port as LAN port?

hi,

have begun entirely reconfigure network, , end few questions. i'll try explain setup:

have isp router, older airport extreme, new time capsule, gigaswitch, , bunch of computers , nases.

1) isp router connected wan port on ape, acts dhcp , nat router. ape broadcasts wifi network in 2.4ghz.
2) have ethernet cable wired other end of house, connected lan port on ape, , lan port on tc (running in bridge mode).
3) tc connected gigaswitch via lan port. gigaswitch connection point computers.
4) connected tc main nas, via lan port.
5) tc acting wifi station, broadcasting network in 2.4ghz , 5ghz.

have purchased nas backup purposes, , wonder if can connect wan port on tc? believe make backing nas -> nas faster, , should not affect remaining network?

also, problem broadcast same ssid via 2.4ghz 2 stations, 5ghz?

thanks,

bo

just let know, tc work in bridge mode if it's connected aebs through tc's wan port. can use freed lan port new nas.

i'm running tc way (in bridge mode connected aebs) , using of lan ports hardwired clients.

way suggest (nas connected tc's wan port) (read highly likely, haven't tested this) work believe tc/aebs have auto switching wan/lan ports. said, prefer to use wan port upstream connections , lan ports clients.
