installing snow leopard

i told should install snow leopard on imac. before this, able install adobe cs3 web premium? installed after apple store reinstalled software because not letting me log in.
if so, please tell me need do.

 

what's current os? if mac came lion, downgrading not simple if possible.
start have sl install dvd. once have it's pretty easy boot in , let installer handle task.
