i bought first apple computer in 1984. since have purchased more 20 apple devices including 4 iphones. in addition, other family members , companies have been have purchased large numbers of apple devices.
relatively new 4s had manufactures’ defective (according att inspected phone) , apple refused replace except "refurbished" device no additional warranty protection extending forward 1 year new device should have.
spent 2 hours arguing point apple store manager , several levels of apple corporate representatives in ceo's offices.
have read other user comments including 1 in iphone replaced refurbished unit few days old. same company bragged quality , customer loyalty?
shame on apple!
it no secret nor new news apple replace idevice refurb if have 1 available.
shame on apple? guess depends on how @ it. brought in device used, came out device still used functional.
