VLC progress slider is missing.

on fiancé's macbook pro, vlc player missing progress slider appears @ top of screen. round 'play' button , round 'forward skip' , 'back skip' buttons missing.

know how these back. upgraded 1.1.12 because of problem didn't fix it.

using os x v10.7.2

try reinstalling vlc.
