Shadowy orange stripe LCD MBP mid 2010 15inch

have mid 2010 mbp 15 inch hi-res matte lcd.
it's developed weird thing on display , depends on how computer has been resting (sitting display open or traveling in laptop bag):
it's considerably brighter along bottom inch of screen , when document or webpage open, brighter spot glows orange. still legible, more orange. if it's in bag bit, bright strip moves side. don't know if there bad liquid in there or what.
i'm not 1 in office uses it, have done damage, i'm not sure how tell! thoughts?? possible applecare cover it?
