my first "what **** happened?" moment mac.
installed efi update air through software update , went super quick , went reboot. that's when fecal matter hit fan.
shut down got loud 5 second buzzer. started freak , stopped , 3 seconds later hear startup chime. think maybe freak thing , hope boots fine. doesn't. boot screens comes apple logo , progress bar underneath. see it, shut down againg , goes resart cycle chimes, boot screen pops , restarts on , on again.
did thing think of doing hold power button down until stopped trying boot up, did. hit power button again see if same thing before call apple. boots fine , powered , seems ok, heck about???
should call apple , see say?

just noticed looks efi update did not install. still showing under software update.
should do? try again?
happened me while updating efi on imac... honestly, think it's not of issue - outside of mildly alarming behavior.
did efi update succeed?
edit: make sure battery charged, , power plugged in, too. possible have corrupted updater, or incorrect version?
