Move books to iPad from Mac

i have bunch of books created housed on mac. i'd move them ipad 2 since easier carry. these manuals, references , tutorials.

there easy way so? i've emailed on or 2 , worked fine, have large number of them i'd move.

 

if pdf can stick them in itunes , sync them ibooks.
