i have had ongoing problem imac. have dealt applecare senior advisor on phone, taken in service center, had onsite visit , took in apple store.
because issue has not been resolved guy @ apple store told me today going replace computer. asked if replacing new or refurbished computer , assured me didn't have refurbished items in store , new.
led me wonder later if same model imac or newer one. believe there has been update since purchased mine. has had experience this?
when purchased imac 2011 came snow leopard, hdd crashed (or something, wouldn't boot) got replacement mid 2011 (came lion), same model, same specs, different os, believe second generation of processors, still same specs.
