Help setting up Raid 0 with two SSD's

raid new me upgrade velociraptors. herd striping 2 ssd's super fast.

have 3 velociraptors installed. slot 1 apps (boot disk), slot 2 files, slot 3 backup of slot 2 (time machine). replace boot drive (slot 1) 2 ssd's under raid 0. still have 1 more slot left (slot 4) can installed 2 ssd's.

need raid card doing this?

mac i'm installing 2008 2.8 quad. it's still pretty fast, need boost.
plan 2 120gb mercury extremes.

you don't need raid card... after install them , boot osx install media, you'll have option run disk utility menu before installation. choose raid, striped, , disks want include , disk utility format raid0 array , allow proceed installation.
