Apple Planning 'Significant Growth' of Reseller Network in India

new job listing on apple's site indicates company developing "significant growth plan" network of apple premium resellers (aprs) in india, seeking new national manager oversee expansion of program.
the new position based in bangalore, apple has minor existing presence.

earlier year, rumors surfaced suggesting apple considering opening own retail stores in india after government relaxed laws had required significant domestic ownership of single-brand stores. unclear whether apple's planned expansion of apr network in india means has decided against opening own stores in country, such apple retail plan appears have been long-term project in case.
