A challenge for you MR dwellers. I need some help.

hi guys,

firstly i'll thank can provide. have been doing reading up, i'm not knowledgable older apple machines, use windows guy, looking older apple machine younger brother (he's 14), first computer (one owns) , here criteria.

- machine needs around £100-£150 (i'm university student money tight)
- beneficial have wi-fi
- main uses simple itunes/web browsing/word docs
- i'm not sure on whether desktop or mobile laptop unit better (best bang buck perhaps?)

have looked around, can see, possibly powermac g5? or imac g4? or possibly ibook? said i'm not sure!

tell me think best here. cheaper better work part time as can, have around 40 hours of uni work.

a g4 imac, emac, newer powermac g4, or air cooled powermac g5. if g4 imac or emac, 1 usb 2 ports. faster , support easier find wireless cards.
