When to Sell my 15.4" 2008 MBP

i have mbp model mb471ll/a. looking new mbp (whenever comes out.)

bought new ipad , think wouldn't worst thing in world if went without mbp month or 2 (max). no longer student, , work full time mbp doesn't attention my ipad.

question is, if want top dollar mbp, should sell now? think?

 

its value never increase. longer hold onto computer, more depreciates.

you'll never top dollar 4 year old laptop, you'll more selling today 3 months now.
