Quick Canada Carrier question

moved here canada vancouver work visa (yay vfx industry)

have iphone 4 jailbroken , im going install unltrasnow on it

have att , told rogers has same 3g baseband , gsm fallback edge. roams on rogers when here.

there other company called fido has better deals. wondering if use same things rogers cause owned them?

same tech. can unlock , use fido sim , have work?

rogers , fido use same frequencies can use either when unlocked.
