it's pretty amazing can make many substantial hardware improvements on course of ~365 days, , engineering tradeoff it's few millimeters thicker. i'm not diehard apple loyalist of guys (i split time between mba , w7 rig), pre-ordered mine yesterday because nothing in tablet segment comes close.
i'd have agree it's pretty damn impressive, close second screen. mean said, it's little thicker, , has power 4 times many pixels yet battery life uneffected. shocked when announced battery life, thinking going iphone 4s-like drop in battery. , equally amazing 4g old 3g times. overall apple has proved they're kings of battery!
edit: read article after posting , i'm more impressed. hope apple has been able increase battery density because if so, see improved battery on iphone 5 (or whatever call it). since real battery drains 4s->5 4g , a5x, , not addition of retina display, think can expect 5 not match 4s in battery life, surpass it.
