Downgrade OS X Lion to SL (Backup Issue)

i have since november macbook pro 17'' 2011, , updated lion (this model came sl). after few months miss sl because of difference in performance, rosetta older apps , possibility use older expose again (also have issues games didn't had in sl).

problem want backup time machine on external hdd can go sl without problems, saw there problems doing this. considering recover hdd , not tm option when reinstall sl, dont know if work avoid problems.

main issue approx. 100gb of files (including apps, documents , music), , example of them blocked hosts file, dont want reinstall since 0 , edit again file.. dont have install files them right if want anyway. knows how can downgrade without risk lose data , configs?
