Apple hardware QC... Is it just bad luck?

hi. thought: since 2006, i've bought quite few apple devices, , think it, failure rate high (most of times apple's taken care of free of charge, no complaints there)

first generation macbook -> faulty logic board (it turned off no reason)
santa rosa macbook pro -> faulty nvidia 8600gt
mac pro 1,1 -> faulty x1900xt
ipod nano -> got replaced new 1 because of battery issue.
iphone 3g -> faulty gps
11" macbook air -> perfect
20" white c2d imac -> perfect, far, although i've read scary stories gpu failure, i'm not sure apply computer.
iphone 4 -> faulty camera

left out of list 3 acd (20", 23", , 30" 3 run fine) said, except iphones, out of warranty (and repaired iphone 4 camera myself few bucks) everything's been repaired/replaced free of charge apple... still, back, it's huge failure rate!

bad luck. plenty of people have no issues macs.
