3D Monitors & Mac Pros

hello everyone,
wondering if of has ever connected mac pro 3d monitor (not tv). thinking of buying 3d lg monitor not require special graphic cards or active shutter 3d glasses. know might need converter because not 23" 3d lg monitors support dvi-d. in addition know need have installed blu ray player. own 8-core mac pro (early 2009) ati 4870 , 16gb of ram. looking buy this:

please tell me if works fine , if able watch 3d content. 1 more thing, aware os x not officially support 3d enabled movie players know there alternative ways make work, not tell me installing windows. if had install windows, never ask question @ first.

probably not answer want hear, but:

outside of mac blu-ray player , makemkv/vlc trick (neither solution supports 3d), there no other solutions.

blu-ray 3d playback on computer available in windows right now.
