hi all,
hoping of american macrumors community advise me here.
i'm visting dc 5 days next week. i'm planning longer 3 week trip in august.
i'm wondering if worth bothering mobile sim , kind of data "bolt on" (i'd call in uk - payg top up, choose bundle - hope makes sense)
questions are:
- int'l gsm iphone 4s work on carrier networks (att / tmob etc - not cdma)
- in uk, providers allow pay go sim card (pre-paid term in think), buy data pack. similiar product exist, , worthwile?
suspect hyatt i'm staying @ have wifi, not end of world if don't bother, wondering if there solution keeping in mind plan further longer trip later in year.
firstly, bear in mind phone locked carrier (unless bought apple store unlocked), therefore sim may not option.
personally, tend turn off data roaming , rely on hotel's wifi when i'm in us.
