Help needed before i purchase a non working iMac

hi,

im looking purchase non working, "sold as" 27" imac 2.8ghz intel core i5, sn: mc511x/a. stupidly cheap @ moment 4 days go. (very lite description) says "no boot up, no display, beeping noise".

going silly idea purchase, or in luck , fixable?. im thinking possible new hard drive (for boot issue), beeping cold ram? not sure display.

ideas?

that depends on beep pattern:

imac (mid 2007) , later models: startup tones
