Serious Sync Problems (address book)

hi,

having real trouble syncing iphone mac.

firstly updated 30 apps , took 4 syncs transfer them on doing them @ once, , last few had download on iphone went syncing on @ all.

none of new address book contacts syncing either, have option selected sync address book contacts , have selected 'all contacts.'

still refuses sync new add, @ loss of do. idea?

tried sync 'test' number iphone , hasn't worked either - doesn't sync either way now...

okay scrap said before, played around settings have got contacts...on mac , icloud. how icloud ones merge mac ones?

 

i don't have mac, guess end 2 lists of contacts show double entries on idevice. somewhere (i found once) when contacts app open, there's option in contacts pick list of contacts visible.

however, really, recommend using icloud contacts (and calendar , email) - eliminates kinds of problems.
