i've got 3gs running gophone (at&t prepaid).
battery life drains enormously fast. morning in time took take off charger (at 100%), take shower (with screen , apps off), open 1 page in safari , close it, , listen 1 song, battery drained 95%. @ first had untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak, needed not use jb features anymore , suspected crap battery life because of it. de jailbroke , battery life suckage still remains. of cellular data turned off , i'm connected wifi battery should not eating juice that. i'm getting concerned because in less entire school day (6 hours) ran battery down 15%. phone died before got home last night, , couldn't charge because of broken wall-to-usb connector.

how many applications open? hold home button , see how many apps can scroll through on bottom of screen. if don't use any, press , hold icon , wiggle , show red "-" sign. press kill apps.
