iMac clicking noise

so yesterday when got home work noticed imac started making unusual noise. on right side of screen dvd drive at. noise occurs every 30 seconds stops.

occurs when computer idle when nothing on running: safari, itunes. mid 2011 imac base model.

can please tell me problem computer please? or clicking noise loud normal.

 

a clicking hard drive might sign hard drive on it's way out. better make back-up.

if still have warranty, take applecare , let them fix it.
