in preparation trip italy in april, purchased europe map amazon.com nuvi 1490 came on microsd card. i've installed microsd card garmin device. i've looked documentation following can't seem find it:
1. how can verify have functional map before italy?
2. how can @ points on new map?
3. there way through garmin's web site or software backup map? i'd stick on dvd. assume need sd card reader this?
4. understanding favorites can downloaded directly online garmin device. done this? know of link this?
