Does Verizon's extended network not work on the Ipad?

i temporarily living in area don't verizon service @ home, @ work , @ school. anyway, while @ home verizon uses cellular towers provide me cellphone service through extended network. have noticed ipad doesn't show extended network @ all, , lot of times while @ home either says searching/no service, or maybe 1 bar of verizon (pretty no service , when on extended network says extended).

extended network through phones or deal that? in advance.

 

do have data roaming enabled?
