i not new jailbreaking have never had unlock before. 3gs has been unlocked , resting happily @ 4.3.3 since, long can't remember. have iphone4 (unlockable bb), ipad 2 (which on 4.3.3 until a5 jailbreak released) , itouch. have learned jailbreaking after yr of having friend me , been doing own since.
issue is, of devices on 5.0.1 except 3gs unlocked since on tmobile. love features of 5.0 firmware cloud , wifi sync , want them on main phone. however, don't know start since need unlock well. friend ended giving me 6.15. ipad bb yr or ago not sure matters.
can old bootrom 3gs on 6.15.00 baseband updated 5.0.1 rejailbroken, unlocked? need preserve bb? read 6.15 irreversible special need ensure can use phone tmobile after getting date 5.0.1?
you'll need create custom firmware using newest version of redsn0w or pwnagetool. doing 5.0.1, you'll jailbroken preserved baseband. install ultrasn0w cydia , unlock.
