has determined whether a5x built on 28nm (tsmc) / 32nm (samsung) lithography, or apple still sourcing 45nm chips samsung? revelation lte baseband built on 45nm process ( http://www.anandtech.com/show/5661/the-new-ipad-4g-contains-qualcomms-mdm9600 ) , i'm getting bit worried. 45nm a5x deal-breaker me considering 28/32nm process represents full node shrink , produce chips lower power consumption @ higher clocks.
no 1 knows until released , being examined. apple never publishes information these stuff. don't know whether cpu coretx a9 or a15 (the latter more if wants remain competitive in terms of spec year).
find silly put emphasis on caled quad-core graphic. kind of trying confuse general public thinking (when compared other quad-core devices) - "oh, ipad quad-core too". graphic chips in general has lot more cores cpu, , that's why using gpu general computing lot faster when doing heavily parallelized work. counting number of cores in gpu idiotic, difference between different gpu architectures lot more difference between cpu architectures.
