Can someone tell me about the flash storage..?

hi, have imac , rest looking macbook airs, see cheapest 1 has '64gb flash drive'... tell me whats different between ssd , flash drive .. or same?

imac has 1tb hdd , looking @ thats 64gb mean .. have seen speed on youtube , mega fast store files because 64gb isnt enough?
