can buy 256 gb 11'' air or have add 128gb after purchase? says configurable 256gb on apple store web page. explain please idiot.

 

yes, can 256gb ssd in 11" air, either 1.6ghz core i5 or 1.8ghz core i7. online store, click on 11" air 128gb ssd. when next screen can select 256gb ssd.

note resellers (notably macmall) have 256gb model less apple's prices, might check them out, well.
