hi guys!
tried search on couldn't find satisfying answers.
got 13" mba ~8/2011, , current battery stats are:
age of mac: 23 weeks
loadcycles: 67
current capacity: 92%
i'm not complaining these stats know they're normal , fine, suggestions in prolonging battery life (as in capacity)? read pretty intensive/thorough post forums regarding battery in apple products, wondering how guys using mbas part.
have ~4-6 hours of lecture day use mba for, , used use on battery @ school , come home , charge until next day. time come home it's @ 10-15% charge depending on how many hours of lecture had.
started using main @ home (leave on ac adapter external monitor + wireless kb/mouse) since sold desktop , in process of obtaining mac mini.
more...efficient(?) (i guess that's word) use on ac adapter while @ school, , maybe allow drain 50-70% (i read 50% in post on batteries, i've read users doing 70%) on battery every 2-3 days use it? or fine keep using on battery @ school , charging @ home have been?
in advance!
run on battery when need , plug in when can. percentage charge when unplug or plug in irrelevant. don't run on ac power time. should answer most, if not all, of battery questions:
