mux Prores with audio

real simple task: add 1 audio track in format (uncompressed, ac3, lossless, etc) prores 422 video file (.mov).

tried different matroska muxers... no luck. thought subler make mp4, no... (i aware files require 64-bit). ffmpeg fails make avis out of them.

solution far add in imovie, export uncompressed video, re-compress prores. works ok , retains surprisingly quality, it's colossal waste of processing should simple task....

 

if you're able encode prores, must have fcp installed. in case, what's stopping doing in fcp? lay prores file on track, lay audio in , export new file.
