restoring my device

hello,
interested understand more ios system , how works editing , moving around device files
renamed system caches folder try out , got myself trouble
device stuck @ recovery mode , itunes wants me restore updating, dont have restore backup option dont wanna lose data , jailbroken stuff
thought of giving last try ask here of solution out of recovery mode
tried common method , took me apple logo went recovery mode, think cus caches folder isn't loading caused

?
have ios 5.0.1 shsh blobs heard not possible use them anymore

 

without knowing device difficult advise.
