Airport Utility unable to find Extreme or Express?

i have airport extreme n , airport express n reset pushing needle hole on them , neither 1 show in airport utility. tried accessing them both 2 separate macs, though nothing shows , button displays rescan.

why not showing up?

can connect extreme or express wifi network? airport utility not show devices after reset , need manually connect respective wifi networks , set 1 @ time.
