web-based videoconferencing not recognizing Canon XL1S presence.

trying friend. he's got job tomorrow requires videoconferencing, he's running problems. if doesn't resolved near loses out on job.

he's using canon xl1s (date/time stamp depositions) connected via firewire 2010 mbp. camera recognized in ichat, facetime, skype, web-based service has log recognize built-in camera. service uses adobe flash player detected available cameras.

company's people they've never had problem other contractors , problem equipment.

thought since other programs recognize presence of camera, there's issue flash player, don't know go there.

solved!

so, flash player running in 64-bit mode. had step 32-bit , worked. yeah, ok.
