iPhoto sync problem

hi trying sync 10mp images dslr new ipad, when try sync photos dont appear on ipad.

way i'm doing select iphoto app in itunes , import them directly that? right way? if not "import files" part of iphoto app (in itunes) for?


or import photos in pictures section of itunes? memory resized them.

trying import photos right dslr's sd card? if so, need camera accessory, acts card reader.

or, can import photos iphoto on mac. then, connect ipad mac (via sync cable or on home wifi network) , in "photo" tab under ipad device in itunes choose album(s) want. sync.
