iPhone 4 S for repair (possible wet damage) - question
hi!
camera , flash light broken. happened when jogging 2 months ago phone in pocket. -20 c cold (in finland), , battery died. when got home, whole phone frosty, , didnt start @ first. when started (long time on charger) flash went on. flash on, not bright on. camera wont start. front camera works.
talked apple guy on phone , going come , phone repair week. apple guy asked had phone had contact liquids , explained same thing explained here. said ok, thats it.
wonder, if apple see problem caused me , water, , not repair phone? have pay? or send back? understand there 'sensors' inside phone indicate if has been wet. how sensitive they?
why i'm asking, because have guy, install new camera , flash module 99€, , if there going trouble, payments etc. might cancel whole thing.
just check water sensors. flash light underneath dock connector. if shows pink has set off. there disc in headphone jack can change pink. pink means has come contact water.
