my roommate has found windows laptop , password protected , couldn't log in. after 2 days searching web has found program, burnt on cd, booted cd , done, no passwords anymore.
1.does happen when types wrong password more 5 or 10 times mean on mac?
2.and importantly how protected using password, considering roommate quite clueless computers , yet able access password protected pc quite easily?
unless if password protect bootup sequence (dunno if that's possible on mac - sorry, i'm bit ignorant of macbooks, here), there ways around.
actually, uefi should have mantainance workarounds...
