Earphones

can people me please?
earphones got ipod touch 4g 8gb not have volume switcher on them. earphones had gotten had earphones nothing else. friends got earphones 3rd gen have volume button switcher. know why is?

 

that because ipod touch 3rd gen has voicecontrol, doesnt have build in mic, there's mic in volume switcher. ipod touch 4th gen has build in mic next camera.
@ least, think why...
