couple of questions before I buy


i looking @ first :apple:

going w/ 13 inch 2011 model because current work laptop took dump on me , time replacement. not want spend on 1500 on replacement have been shopping around.

1st question. found feb 2011 model of 13inch i7 2.7 w/ 500 gig hdd shipped door $1350. found @ "macmall" reputable vendor?

2nd question. found oct 2011 model refurb 13inch i7 2.8 w/ 750 gig hdd shipped door 1357. refurb model im worried scratches , being banged up. im wondering if better deal brand new model listed above.

dont need 250 gig hdd never hurts. w/ 7 dollars difference in 2 makes tuff. trying figure out if 2.8 i7 of upgrade normal lean towards brand new vs refurb when close in price if later great deal , stupid not jump on hope tell me , why.

anyways thats guys. more buy , why? :cool:
 

1. is, though i've heard horror stories. goes online shop @ all, wouldn't count on vocal minority.

simple google search "macmall.com review" brought up, maybe should read it: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/macmall

2. if it's refurbished off of apple website, put in new battery, check case blemishes, etc. it's new, , if somehow isn't, still carries 14-day return window, , full 1 year warranty.

whether 2.8ghz i7 useful or not impossible say, didn't mention anywhere in post intend computer.
