Boot Camp Not Finding Windows Installer Disk

i'm trying install windows xp on mac, it's running lion, using boot camp. open boot camp assistant, , i've downloaded windows support stuff , burned disk. then, when next screen asks me size want make partition, set 60gb, have windows xp disk inserted optical drive, hit install. window pops saying, "the installer disk not found. insert windows installer disc , wait few seconds disc recognized." windows xp full version loaded sp2 already. there anyway around this? or can install windows 7?

please help!
