Apple Extends Deadline for Sandboxing of Mac App Store Apps to June 1

apple today announced has extended deadline mac app store apps implement sandboxing until june 1. requirement had been set go effect on march 1 after having been delayed last november, continued uncertainty implementation , effects on app functionality has caused apple again slow down transition.
we first profiled sandboxing requirements, restrict apps initiating operations outside of operational confines, in november. while users override sandboxing own commands, compromised apps prevented affecting user's entire system. concerns on effect of requirement on apps requiring system-wide file access or allowing inter-app scripting have given pause how sandboxing should implemented.

issues revisited earlier month deadline approached, several developers noting there still questions , concerns on how implement sandboxing in applications. 1 developer noted macrumors @ time there major issues if apple enforce requirement on march 1, given lingering bugs , other issues, , apple has taken concerns heart , given , developers additional 3 months work through issues.

slowly moving towards dumbing down normal applications ios-style "apps"…

next step apps can no longer run in background, except services apple deems worthy of multi-tasking, , full screen we'll have switch between apps time.

after that, keyboard removed, , single button added. further human-computer interaction automatically determined os. human presence no longer necessary, os able make better decisions on own. soon, computers rule world , better world. computers.
