i purchased imac on feb 1 , have had problems being able connect wireless after waking sleep. had downloaded 10.7.3 , have since talked apple care. elevated technical rep spent couple hours on phone me. had me download computer , sent apple engineers. told me couple days before got me.
called other day , tried 2 more things didn't work. every 2 out of 3 times imac won't reconnect after waking sleep , have reconnect manually. it's not hard that, shouldn't have to. told rep. apple aware of problem people , software issue not hardware issue. told me have unfortunately wait future update fix problem.
have until tuesday return imac. considering doing because seems many people have issues also. had switched form imac pc because previous imac drop it's connection in snow leopard. aware taking chance in coming mac, missed usability, since have iphone , getting ipad 3. have purchased macbook air 13 inch 256 sad , that. take few seconds reconnect after waking sleep, finds connection every time.
i'm curious if there doesn't have problem on imac's considering returning 1 , purchasing new imac , seeing if avoid problem different 1 since rep. told me it's not of them some. don't want try 1 if seems widespread problem though.
i have had no such issues imac, either in sl or in lion. did check router's settings?
