network world reports on keynote speech given in chicago yesterday siri co-founder dag kittlaus in described of developments led apple acquiring company , folding technology iphone 4s. according kittlaus, steve jobs contacted him 3 weeks after siri launched iphone app in 2010 set meeting started relationship.
kittlaus noted jobs wasn't enamored "siri" name, under persistent support kittlaus , failure come alternative liked better, jobs decided keep name when feature launched on iphone 4s last october.

siri's iphone app launched in february 2010, , apple acquired company less 3 months later. kittlaus worked @ apple until last october, when left pursue other opportunities , closer family in chicago.
