Is the upgrade to Lion worth it ?

hello everyone,

i'm running snow leopard on mac , it's doing fine out of curiosity wanted try lion.

thing since mountain lion available in few months wondering if worth hassle of upgrading lion , changing again mountain lion in short period of time.

did apple indicate if possible go snow leopard directly mountain lion ?

ideas on how charge mountain lion upgrade ?

i upgraded sl developer preview of ml (on spare hdd of course). doesn't mean apple support possible. expect price $29 again pure speculation based on pricing of lion , sl.

if decide upgrade lion, don't forget make "install usb stick" because install app deletes after it's done , way again sit through 3+ gig download again.
