Groups not working in Apple Mail and Address Book

go address book > create group > drag 5 email addresses > save

go apple mail > group not show in address panel, if type group's name in to: field group shows up. fine till there, if try send message warning pop-up saying not seem proper email address in to: field. if send message anyway i'm not allow chosen outgoing server (no matter 1 choose many have available.

if open address book group there , if right-click on can select send email group...which takes me apple mail, there same thing happens > mail goes nowhere.

have other groups have created long time ago , work fine. maybe got screwed during system upgrade or likes? i'm running 10.6.8 , mail 4.5.

maybe can delete mail's .plist i'm not sure if i'll lose of settings, rules, contacts, etc.

in advance help.

 

problem solved

close mail app > open mail app

seems apple mail not recognize groups create in address book, till close mail , open again.
